88 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the rate struck by local authorities in 1999 on a county by county basis, giving details for each county council and urban council; and if he will give the comparative figures for 1998. [27494/99]

The following table contains a full listing of the rate struck by each rating authority in 1998 in respect of 1999. It also contains details notified to my Department to date of those rates struck by local authorities in 1999 in respect of 2000. I am arranging to have the outstanding data in respect of 2000 sent to the Deputy as soon as it is made available in my Department.
