I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this application refers to a Transfer of Part which was lodged on 30 October 1998 and is expected to be completed shortly. I am further informed that the new folio number is 36140F County Mayo.

Question:679 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when a section 49 registration will be completed for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo. [1813/00]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this application refers to a section 49 application – acquisition of title by virtue of long possession – of the Registration of Title Act 1964 which was lodged on 15 December 1998.
I understand that due to their complicated nature, applications under section 49, which require detailed examination of claims for registration as owners, can take some time to process. Accordingly, although it is not possible to estimate a precise completion date for the application concerned at this stage, I can say that the application is being processed at present and will be completed without delay.
