208 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Sligo has to wait until 19 July 2000 for an MRI scan; if she will be called immediately in view of her medical problems; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2509/00]

The provision of hospital services in this case is the responsibility of the hospital concerned. I have asked the chief executive officer of the hospital to investigate this case and to reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
