Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Seán Haughey

Question:

210 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in Dublin 5 will have a telemetry test carried out in Beaumont Hospital in view of the fact he has three brain tumours and is in need of surgery; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2622/00]

With regard to this patient, I have asked the chief executive officer of Beaumont Hospital to investigate the position in this case and, given the particular circumstances, I have requested that he reply to the Deputy directly, as a matter of urgency.

John Perry

Question:

211 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in County Sligo will be admitted to the National Rehabilitation Centre, Dún Laogharie, County Dublin, for vital treatment following an accident; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [652/00]

The provision of hospital services in this case is the responsibility of the hospital concerned. I have asked the secretary-manager of the hospital to investigate this case and to reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
