Written Answers. - Services for People with Disabilities.
The pre-budget submission from Headway Ireland, the National Head Injuries Association, was received in my Department on 29 December 1999. This submission will assist my Department and the health boards in their consideration of the needs of those who have suffered serious head injuries.
The established mechanism by which decisions are reached to support various services for people with disabilities is through the Regional Co-ordinating Committee for Physical and Sensory Disability Services. It is in this context that future support for services provided by Headway Ireland will be determined.
