219 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if a person (details supplied) in County Sligo will be allocated additional sheep quota in view of the fact that he has additional sheep which can be verified; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3377/00]

There is no record in my Department of having received an application from the person named for an allocation of ewe quota from the year 2000 national reserve. The closing date for receiving completed applications was 18 September 1999 and I regret to say that an application cannot be accepted at this stage.
