288 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children the proposals, if any, he has for An Bord Altranais to come under the Freedom of Information Act, 1997; and, if so, the plans, if any, he has to introduce legislation to that effect. [3111/00]
I propose to take Questions Nos. 287 and 288 together.
I intend that the Medical Council and An Bord Altranais will come under the Freedom of Information Act and will be initiating discussions with each of these bodies shortly to agree the basis for such inclusion.
