Written Answers. - Hepatitis C Compensation Tribunal.
The total amount paid out in compensation to hepatitis C victims by the hepatitis C compensation tribunal up to 7 February 2000 is £223.9 million. Legal costs totalling £28.9 million have also been paid. Details of these payments are set out in the following table.
