Question:

440 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will grant approval to St. Declan's community college, Kilmacthomas, County Waterford, for stages 4 and 5 of the proposed permanent extension in view of the fact that all details were submitted on 17 August 1999; if he will ensure that there are no further delays by allowing the project to proceed to tender stage; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3351/00]

It is anticipated that an analysis of the stage 5 – bill of quantities submission in respect of the proposed extension at St. Declan's community college will shortly be completed. As soon as the analysis is completed, the matter of inviting tenders will be addressed.
