458 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science the extent to which current facilities at Coláiste Chiarán, Leixlip, County Kildare, meet requirements; the proposals, if any, he has to augment these facilities; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3518/00]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods)

An application for additional accommodation at Colaiste Chiarán, Leixlip has not been received from County Kildare VEC. A number of minor improvement works are in train at this school. An application for additional accommodation will be considered in the context of the educational needs of the school.
