Vol. 514 No. 1

Written Answers. - Schools Building Projects.

Austin Currie

Question:

231 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Education and Science the position in securing a suitable site for the proposed primary school at Littlepace, Castaheany, Dublin 15; the individual with responsibility for obtaining a site; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3625/00]

Negotiations for the acquisition of the site in question are still under way and, consequently, it would not be appropriate for me to make any more detailed statement about the position at this point.

The matter is being handled by the planning and building unit of my Department.

Austin Currie

Question:

232 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to the concern in Luttrellstown, Dublin 15, that the reserved site for the new primary school is to be moved to an area less central to the main concentration of population; the position in relation to the provision of this school; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3626/00]

I have no information regarding the development referred to by the Deputy. However, if he can provide me with further details, I will have the matter examined by my Department.
