Question:163 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the progress, if any, on the provision of an upgraded sewerage system for Freshford, County Kilkenny. [4581/00]
Written Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.
In line with Government policy to develop the public-private partnership approach as a major instrument in the future development and provision of infrastructure, my Department has asked the council to consider grouping this proposal with other smaller sized schemes, and to supply certain other information, so that all possible procurement options can be explored. The council's response is awaited.
