192 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will give details regarding the new £10 million college announced by his predecessor for the northside of Cork city with specific details on the faculties to be located there and the location of the college. [4460/00]
University College Cork – National University of Ireland, Cork, and Cork Institute of Technology have jointly proposed the establishment of a college of higher education on the northside of Cork city. A detailed analysis of this proposal in terms of the scope and scale of the college is being undertaken. Accordingly, the details on the faculties to be located in the college and the location of the college are not yet available.
