Vol. 514 No. 4

Written Answers. - Pension Provisions.

Martin Brady

Question:

108 Mr. M. Brady asked the Minister for Public Enterprise the plans, if any, she has to set up a task force to review the Aer Lingus pension schemes. [4420/00]

I have asked the chairmen of Aer Lingus and Aer Rianta to establish a task force, to examine concerns which have been expressed by a number of pensioners of the companies concerned about the Irish Airlines (General Employees) Superannuation Scheme, and to submit a report to me as soon as possible which clearly sets out what the concerns about the scheme actually are.
