234 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for Education and Science if negotiations between the TUI and his Department regarding pay and conditions for VTOS co-ordinators have been concluded; and if the circular letter outlining the new conditions will issue. [5560/00]
Negotiations between my Department, the TUI, representing vocational training opportunities scheme teachers and co-ordinators, and the Irish Vocational Educational Association representing management, regarding pay and conditions for VTOS co-ordinators have not yet been concluded, as agreement on some issues is still outstanding.
I am anxious to issue the circular letter outlining the new conditions as soon as possible. I expect the discussions to be concluded very shortly.
