98 Mr. U. Burke asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a 1998 ewe premium grant and hogget ewe grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway in view of the fact that outstanding difficulties have been explained; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The appeal lodged by the herdowner concerning his 1998 ewe premium application is currently being examined by the headage and premia appeals unit. It is expected that a decision will be made shortly and the herdowner will be notified of the outcome.
