Question:152 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands the six possible sites for the proposed national park in north Mayo; and when the site selection process will be completed. [6418/00]

As the sites in question were offered by private individuals it would be inappropriate of me to divulge their locations or the names of the owners of these sites. Nego tiations have commenced regarding the acquisition of a suitable site in the Ballycroy area but it is too early to say when this exercise will be finalised.
