Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Timmins – the plans for the Real Tennis Court, Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin 2; (2) Deputy Ó Caoláin – the need for testing of all schools for radon gas in light of the discovery that 13 schools have high radon levels; (3) Deputy Upton – the need to devise a programme of food safety training for all prospective workers in the food industry in light of the salmonella outbreak in Louth, Meath and Cavan; (4) Deputy Howlin – the concern at the hardship being caused by the policy of dispersing asylum seekers throughout the country; (5) Deputy Stanton – the need for funding to extend school transport for students attending Coláiste Eoin and CBS secondary school in Youghal, County Cork; (6) Deputy Perry – the need for funding to be made available to Kilmactranny national school, Boyle, County Sligo, for structural and school ground improvements; (7) Deputy Ring – the need for and timing of an extension for a primary school (details supplied) in County Mayo; (8) Deputy O'Shea – the deteriorating situation in relation to archaeological referrals at Dúchas; (9) Deputy Wall – the latest developments on the Defence White Paper; (10) Deputy Moynihan-Cronin – the need to provide a bus-link service from the new bus station in Killarney to the train station to ensure that all passengers are facilitated on train services; and (11) Deputy Allen – the acceptance by the Blood Transfusion Service Board of blood donations from donors who were barred from giving blood.

The matters raised by Deputies Allen, Howlin, Ó Caoláin and Stanton have been selected for discussion.
