68 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Finance if he has signified, or is considering, acceptance under the State Property Act, 1954, or otherwise of the arrangement between the Department of the Taoiseach and a company (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7105/00]

Minister for Finance (Mr. Mc Creevy):

Because of the form of the arrangement, it is not yet clear how it should be treated under the State Property Act, 1954. For this reason my acceptance of the arrangement has not been requested at this stage.
