104 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the grant aid, if any, available to improve the farmyard of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7362/00]
The national scheme for the control of farm pollution provides grant aid for the construction of waste storage facilities, silage storage facilities, livestock housing and associated farmyard facilities. The rate of grant aid is 40% in the less favoured areas and 35% in the other areas subject to a grant ceiling of £10,000.
