Vol. 516 No. 2

Written Answers. - Mental Health Services.

Gay Mitchell

Question:

115 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 will be considered for sheltered accommodation in view of the special circumstances. [7329/00]

The provision of care and treatment for persons suffering from a mental illness in the Dublin area is a matter for the Eastern Regional Health Authority. I have, therefore, referred this matter to the regional chief executive of the Eastern Regional Health Authority, to investigate the matter and reply directly to the Deputy.
