Question:

210 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Health and Children if asbestos has been discovered in buildings at James Connolly Memorial Hospital, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15; if so, the extent of the problem; and the measures, if any, which have been taken to eradicate the danger to health. [8585/00]

The condition of the buildings at James Connolly Memorial Hospital is an operational matter for the Eastern Regional Health Authority. The authority has been asked by my Department to reply direct to the Deputy in the matter.
