Vol. 516 No. 5

Written Answers. - School Transport.

Richard Bruton

256 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will reconsider his decision to refuse to provide a bus service for parents who wish to have the option of sending their children to a single sex school (details supplied) in County Galway unless the boards of management in both schools in the catchment agree to shared catchment in view of the hardship which it causes some parents. The school transport section of my Department is examining the matter. The Deputy will be informed of the outcome as soon as possible.
