119 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if she has received a copy of the recently published report from the National Competitiveness Council on the implementation of infrastructural plans; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [7004/00]
I recently received the report by the National Competitiveness Council on proposals on transport infrastructure, the planning process and public transport. The issues and recommendations highlighted in the report will be considered by my Department in the context of the national development plan and the Programme for Prosperity and Fairness. Some of the main recommendations in the report are related to transport and planning issues and the views of the relevant Departments have been sought.
