Question:

220 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if he will intervene with the Land Commission on behalf of persons (details supplied) in County Sligo and waive the requirement to pay the arrears by taking the old dwelling house from the folio; if he will resolve the issues in relation to section 12, condition 1, in view of the fact that it is causing considerable difficulties and preventing regis tration; and if he will make a statement on the matter. (Mr. Walsh): The persons in question have been offered an opportunity to reschedule their land annuity and arrears and if the offer is accepted, my Department will waive the requirement in section 12 to pay the arrears of annuity.
