Vol. 517 No. 2

Written Answers. - Motor Taxation Office.

Eamon Gilmore

Question:

120 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will provide a motor taxation office in Dún Laoghaire; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9479/00]

Responsibility for the provision of a motor tax office in Dún Laoghaire is a matter, in the first instance, for Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and Dublin Corporation as the licensing authority for motor taxation in the Dublin area. I am not aware of any plans by either authority to proceed in this direction.
