Question:

261 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of persons awaiting hip operations in each health board area; the number waiting less than 12 months, between 12 months and two years, and between two years and three years on 1 January in each of the years from 1996 to 2000. [10654/00]

The hospital in-patient waiting list data in respect of people waiting for hip operations in the format collected by my Department as at 31 December for each of the years 1995 to 1999 is set out in the following table:
