1 Mrs. Owen asked the Taoiseach the number of copies of the review of An Action Programme for the Millennium distributed by his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7289/00]
My Department distributed approximately 2,000 copies of An Action Programme for the Millennium as reviewed by the Fianna Fáil-Progressive Democrats Government. The document was issued to the media, Departments, Dáil Deputies and members of the public on request.
Given the failure of the Government to deliver on so many of the commitments in the first version of the action programme, will a third version of the programme be released just before the next election so the Government can get rid of some of the commitments in the second version that it did not fulfil? What does the Taoiseach propose with regard to this action programme?
It is the Government's intention to have the programme implemented by 26 June 2002.
