121 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the steps, if any, he will take to expedite an application for registration of a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11246/00]

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this application refers to a transfer of part which was lodged on 16 March 2000.

I can inform the Deputy that this dealing is being expedited by the Land Registry and, subject to no queries arising, will be completed within four to five weeks.
