269 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education and Science the progress made on the proposed building project at a school (details supplied) in County Carlow where the last communication with the board of management took place in October 1999; if he will arrange to have the project advanced as a matter of urgency; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Architectural planning for a new school building in respect of the school in question is proceeding as quickly as possible having regard to the large number of school building projects on hand within my Department.
