224 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education and Science the progress to date on the submission by the board of management of a school (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if he will arrange to have a full-time resource teacher appointed to the school. [12189/00]

My Department's inspectorate has been asked to investigate the need for resource teaching support at the school referred to by the Deputy.

Upon receipt of the inspector's report, officials of my Department will contact the school authorities.
