Vol. 518 No. 6

Written Answers. - Tax Rebates.

Dan Neville

Question:

241 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Finance when a refund of stamp duty will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick. [12525/00]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that a cheque for the appropriate refund of stamp duty was issued by the Accountant General of Revenue to the solicitors acting for the person in question on 3 April 2000. I am further informed by the commissioners that their records show that by 27 April 2000, the cheque had not been cashed.
