262 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Finance if the Commissioners of Public Works have determined the suitability of a site which they were recently offered for a Garda station in Leixlip, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13091/00]
The Commissioners of Public Works have established that the site in question would be suitable for the proposed Garda station if an adjoining plot can be acquired in order to improve access. The availability of this plot is currently being looked into. In the past week, a further property has been offered to the commissioners. This property will be inspected shortly.
