Vol. 518 No. 6

Written Answers. - Hospital Services.

Jack Wall

Question:

302 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Kildare will be admitted to Tallaght General Hospital for urgent surgery in view of the fact that this person is suffering; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12497/00]

The responsibility for the provision of services at the Adelaide and Meath Hospital incorporating the National Children's Hospital now rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. I have, therefore, asked the regional chief executive to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him.
