361 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will review the contents of a letter from a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 with regard to house loans; the plans, if any, he has to alleviate the difficulty faced; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have reviewed the contents of the letter. It is assumed that the applicant's income is in excess of the income limit for the shared ownership and affordable housing schemes.

The operation of these schemes, including the income limits, is kept under review in my Department.
