Written Answers. - Fishing Vessel Licences.
The principles and criteria of sea fishing boat licensing policy have been articulated publicly on numerous occasions. I have, however, asked my Department, in line with the quality customer service objective, and in the interests of clarity and transparency, to finalise as quickly as possible comprehensive guidelines on the licensing process, procedures and criteria. The aim is to finalise those guidelines by mid-year.
