Question:179 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will outline, in respect of each health board in the State, the number of foster parents within each health board area fostering children; the status of the aforesaid foster parents, namely (i) married couples, (ii) co-habitees and (iii) those living alone; and, in respect of foster placements, the number of foster parents or parents who currently have (a) one child only, (b) up to three children, (c) up to five children, (d) up to eight children, (e) up to ten children, and (f) in excess of ten children placed with them.
