297 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if the heads of the Land Registry Bill include reference to the location of the head office of the commercial semi-State body; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13617/00]
While the long established practice is not to divulge detailed information – such as that sought by the Deputy – on proposed legislation in advance of its publication, I can tell the Deputy in this instance that the draft heads of the Bill to give effect to the conversion of the Land Registry and the Registry of Deeds to a commercial semi-State body, do not contain any reference to the location of the head office of the body.
