312 Mr. M. Higgins asked the Minister for Education and Science the timescale for the provision of new accommodation for St. Anthony's school, Station Road, Castlebar, County Mayo; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13302/00]
The accommodation brief at the school in question is being reviewed by my Department in the light of existing enrolment trends at the school. The Deputy will appreciate that the extent of the permanent accommodation to be provided at any school is directly related to the number of students requiring the facilities in the long term. My Department will have to be satisfied that the student enrolments at the school in question will warrant the additional accommodation sought.
