John Bruton
Question:129 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development his views on the way in which agriculture will contribute to reducing the 35% contribution it currently makes to Ireland's greenhouse gas emissions; if the greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture are proportionately as damaging to the global environment as the greenhouse gas emissions from the transport, domestic and energy sectors; and if he has satisfied himself with the scientific basis for the current assessment that agriculture contributes 35% to Ireland's greenhouse gas emissions.
