Vol. 519 No. 3

Written Answers - Government Meetings.

John Bruton

Question:

20 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Taoiseach the additional cost, if any, to the Government secretariat in his Department associated with holding the Government meeting on 9 May 2000 in Waterford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12646/00]

The meeting in Waterford on 9 May 2000 was the third regional meeting of the Government. It was the first meeting to involve an overnight stay.

The costs arising to my Department have yet to be calculated but will be in the order of £6,000.
