Vol. 519 No. 5

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Michael Moynihan

Question:

139 Mr. M. Moynihan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when the balance of payments due to a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be paid in light of the adjustments made to her area aid application 1998-1999. [14492/00]

The person named was paid her full entitlements under the 1998 and 1999 suckler cow premium schemes, based on her quota of five cows, so no balancing payments are due to her as a result of the adjustments made to her forage area. Payment of £701.15 issued to her under each of these schemes.

Her entitlements under the 1998 and 1999 cattle headage scheme have been recalculated based on the revised forage area of 3.61 hectares and balancing payments of £4.47 under the 1998 cattle headage scheme and £3.17 under the 1999 cattle headage scheme will issue to her within the next two weeks.
