Vol. 519 No. 5

Written Answers. - Schools Refurbishment.

Dick Spring

Question:

347 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for Education and Science the estimate of the refurbishment costs of the works required to be carried out to Knockbrack national school, Knocknagoshel, County Kerry; and when the works will be carried out. [14363/00]

It is not the practice of my Department to indicate in advance of obtaining tenders the estimated cost of a project. The Deputy will appreciate that to do so would compromise the tendering process. Work will commence as soon as tenders for the project have been assessed.
