The Civil Service Commission advertised in February 2000 for temporary clerical officers in a number of Government offices in various geographic regions throughout the country. Applicants were requested to submit a biodata questionnaire and were shortlisted for interview on the basis of the marking of the questionnaire. Candidates were called for interview on the basis of their placing following the marking of the biodata questionnaire and the expected number of vacancies in a region. Interviews were organised locally by Departments participating in the pilot term time scheme. Successful candidates are in the process of being offered temporary contracts.
