115 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the number of houses made available to date under the Government's initiative for affordable housing; if the number provided are spread evenly throughout the regions; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14841/00]
Some 40 houses were completed under the affordable housing scheme at the end of last year, 30 of which were provided in Galway city and the remainder in Carrick-on-Suir. Details of activity under the scheme have been requested from all local authorities and will be published in my Department's quarterly and annual housing statistics bulletin commencing with the March 2000 quarterly bulletin.
