Question:

189 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Kerry will be called to Cork University Hospital for an angiogram; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14935/00]

The provision of hospital services in this instance is the statutory responsibility of the Southern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the Southern Health Board to investigate this matter and reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
