*Note. Cllrs. Kelly and Reilly were appointed to the DTO Advisory Committee with effect from 3 April 2000.
The purpose of the advisory committee is to provide advice and guidance to the DTO steering committee and to provide a forum for consultation on Dublin transport issues and the membership of the advisory committee aims to provide a balance between various sectoral interests and local authority members in the DTI area.
Due to the limited size of the committee, however, it is not possible for every group to be actually represented on it and there is currently no organisation explicitly representing the interest of the National Council for the Blind. Nevertheless, any organisation or individual is welcome to make submissions to the DTO in relation to any matter within its remit.
