177 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Education and Science the current status of an application by a primary school (details supplied) in County Westmeath for assistance for increased accommodation requirements and improved sewerage facilities; when final approval will be granted to this application which was made some time ago; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Architectural planning for improved accommodation at the school in question is proceeding as quickly as possible having regard to the large number of school building projects on hand within my Department. The question of improved sewerage facilities is also being addressed.

It is not possible to say at this point when construction will commence.
