Austin Deasy

Question:

29 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will make special provision for one to one education to be made available to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford who suffers from attention deficit hyperactive disorder and whose school has made a recommendation for same. [15819/00]

Applications of this nature are normally made to my Department through the authorities of the school concerned.

I assure the Deputy that if such an application is received in respect of the pupil in question, my Department will process the application and notify the school authorities of the decision as speedily as possible.
