Vol. 521 No. 1

Written Answers. - Traveller Accommodation.

Dan Neville

Question:

225 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if funding will be made available to construct a boundary wall and to develop a linear traveller caravan site at Roches Road, Rathkeale, County Limerick. [16559/00]

There is no application currently in my Department for funding to construct a boundary wall and to develop a linear traveller caravan site at Roches Road, Rathkeale, County Limerick. Any proposal for funding will be considered on its merits. Approval for funding has been given to Limerick County Council for the construction of three group houses at Fairhill, Rathkeale, County Limerick, and I understand that the scheme is expected to be completed in September 2000.
